Stoke City manager Mark Hughes is delighted his club have been able to secure a second consecutive top-half finish in the Premier League.
The Potters guaranteed themselves ninth place on the Premier League table for the second year in a row after drawing 0-0 with Burnley at the weekend, a result which created some history for the Potters.
"We've got 51 (points) and we're delighted with that," said Hughes.
"It's a huge effort from everybody. We've got ninth again, but we've had to work harder for it this time.
"If my maths are correct we are confirmed ninth and back-to-back top-10 finishes is something this club hasn't done for 40 years."
Stoke play Liverpool in their final game of the season on Sunday.
