After yesterday's draw at Liverpool, Manchester City boss Mark Hughes is quietly confident of ending the sniping that has come their way this season.

"I fully expect to be in the top ten and, if we can better the highest league position that City have had in the Premier League, which I think is eighth, I think people will have to reluctantly accept that that is a pretty good achievement under the circumstances," he said.
