Mark Hughes has started his summer clean out at Stoke City by releasing seven players.
The new Potters boss will not be offering new contracts to Jermaine Pennant, Dean Whitehead, Mamady Sidibe, Carlo Nash, Matthew Upson, Matthew Lund and Rory Delap.
Of those seven, midfielder Whitehead is the biggest surprise having made 30 appearances last season whilst the likes of Pennant (Wolves), Sidiby (Tranmere Rovers), Upson (Brighton & Hove Albion), Delap (Barnsley) and Lund (Southend United) all had loan spells elsewhere. Goalkeeper Nash was an unused reserve.
"The club would like to thank all the players for their contribution during their time with us and wish them all the very best for the future," read a club statement.
