Mark Hughes was left fuming over the manner of his sacking by QPR yesterday.
The Daily Mail says Harry Redknapp is the new Queens Park Rangers manager after Hughes was sacked amid fiery scenes at the club's Harlington HQ.
Hughes walked out in disgust when he was asked to take charge of Saturday's game at former side Manchester United but told he would then be dismissed whatever the result.
The Welshman had become so infuriated with external speculation over his position that he challenged Beard on the issue.
That's when Hughes was given the chance to take charge of QPR for the match against United but told he would be sacked afterwards.
The manager declined the offer before leaving the training ground.
Hughes's advisers were last night thrashing out a severance package on the 19 months left on a £3m-a-year deal.
