New Southampton boss Mark Hughes is happy to work with the current staff.

Hughes, who made 60 appearances for the club as a player, will be joined at St Mary's by Mark Bowen and Eddie Niedzwiecki as assistant boss and first team coach.

Assistant coach Kelvin Davis, head of goalkeeping Dave Watson and head of sports science Alek Gross will stay on.

Saints have appointed the Welshman until the end of the season.

He will be given a huge bonus - and a longer deal - if he can keep the Saints up.
