Hughes happy with Stoke progress

Stoke City boss Mark Hughes says his long-term plans for the team are on track.

Hughes remains highly optimistic that Stoke remain on course to make the kind of long-term progress he envisaged when joining in the summer.

"I'm not going to go away too much from what has brought success in the past," he explained, "but I want to progress to allow us to become a top-10 team in the next couple of years and have the potential to do that on a regular basis."
