Hughes given no assurances after QPR crunch talks

QPR boss Mark Hughes is in the dark over his future at Loftus Road.

The Daily Mail says Hughes held talks with chief executive Phil Beard at the club's Harlington HQ on Monday while his assistants Mark Bowen and Eddie Niedzwiecki took charge of a light training session.

Hughes was given no assurances over his job by Beard during the two-hour meeting, with co-owner Tony Fernandes still pondering his manager's future.
