Stoke City boss Mark Hughes admits he's been frustrated in the winter market.
Hughes is becoming increasingly desperate in his bid to sign a goalscoring striker.
"We felt we were close on a number of occasions prior to the window opening," he told The Sentinel.
"We got close, then all of a sudden you wake up and find that the deal you thought was on the table has gone somewhere else.
"But we are still in the mix for new players. You saw here that we still need a bit more in the final third to give us impetus and a bit of pace going the other way."
