Stoke City boss Mark Hughes believes the absence of Jack Butland is a big problem for the team.
The goalkeeper remains sidelined with an ankle injury leaving veteran Shay Given to concede another four gals in their 4-1 loss to Crystal Palace on Sunday.
It was the third time this season the Potters have let in four goals and Hughes admits it is now an issue.
"Jack's a loss for us, something we were not expecting," he said.
"Last year it hurt us (when he was injured).
"We go with what we've got, and we have to be better. We have an opportunity on Wednesday (against Hull) and Saturday (against West Brom) to turn things round very quickly."
