Hughes eager for QPR to go on winning run

QPR boss Mark Hughes is keen to collect points in the coming weeks.

They are currently 16th in the Premier League table but will go six points clear of second-bottom Wolves if they beat them.

The Rs are also looking to extend their unbeaten league run to three matches.

Hughes said: "We are in a period of games where we hoped to bring in a decent haul.

"It's important we do that now because we do have difficult games coming up.

"Teams in and around us are also fighting for their lives and are not going to give us an easy game.

"I've been pleased with what we've done. Beating Wigan and then getting a draw at Villa, a difficult place to go, is a good sign from my point of view."
