Hughes confident Zamora will show true form for QPR

Mark Hughes is supremely confident that Bobby Zamora will find his feet with the club.

The striker left Fulham to join the R's on deadline day of the January transfer window and made an immediate impact with a goal on debut in the 2-1 home loss to Wolves.

In the two games since, Zamora has struggled in a QPR team which has lost to Blackburn Rovers and Fulham but manager Hughes knows the player well and is convinced he will be a key player for the West London club.

"It's a new club and a new challenge for Bobby and he wants to do well," he told West London Sport. "He'll come through because he's a quality player.

"At the moment it's difficult for him. But he's working hard and doing the correct things and when you do that more often than not you become successful."
