Hughes confident of staying in charge at Man City

Mark Hughes expects to be in charge of Manchester City next season.

"My future is the next two years here," he told the Mirror." I have two years left on my contract. I've not been banging on doors asking about a new contract, but I think they are pleased.

"The view this season was to make progress and I think we've done that as a team. The chairman understands where we are.

"We're moving forward and we're getting experience as a group of players and when we're all fit, we can cause problems to any team in this league. So we're fine."
