Manchester City boss Mark Hughes believes his attacking options are the best in the league.
A legitimate debate about the relative merits of Didier Drogba and Fernando Torres can be built around Sunday's blockbuster. Yet the team who can boast Emmanuel Adebayor, Carlos Tevez, Roque Santa Cruz and Craig Bellamy as its attacking quartet are not in action until a day later.
"There is outstanding talent in a number of teams," said Hughes.
"I am sure a number of players will be in the mix for the Golden Boot.
"It will be interesting because I feel it will be a season that throws up surprises along the way.
"There will be results that people won't expect. It is how teams and players bounce back from those situations that counts.
"It may be that the top four come back even stronger and make a statement. But nothing is certain."
