Stoke City boss Mark Hughes is confident of continued support in the summer market.
Hughes, fresh from signing a three-year extension of his contract until 2019, says he has no reason to doubt the board's support.
"We haven't spent a great deal since I've been here," he acknowledged. "The net spend is about £6m.
"But I've never been given the impression that if the right players were available and we wanted to push the boat out, the funds wouldn't be available.
"Some targets we have got to close to, but which fell by the wayside. But I've never doubted that the finances would be available."
