Stoke City boss Mark Hughes says he's agreed terms over a new four-year deal.
Hughes is poised to put pen to paper on a new contract that will keep him at the Brit until 2019.
"Talks are progressing and progressing well. There is a willingness on both sides to get it done," he said in an interview for the Potters' website.
"Sometimes these things can take a little bit of time but we are both pretty hopeful we can get it concluded.
"It's a club that I feel is going places. We've got a lot to achieve here and the next few seasons should be exciting for everybody."
