Stoke City boss Mark Hughes is ready to make contract decisions for no less than ten of his squad.
The Sentinel says Hughes is close to putting pen to paper on a three-year extension that will contract him to the club until 2019.
He will then feel free to concentrate on his plans for next season and beyond.
That means focusing on those senior players - Asmir Begovic, Jon Walters, Steven Nzonzi, Charlie Adam, Geoff Cameron and Robert Huth - with only a year left on their contracts come the end of the current campaign.
A decision must also be made on whether to pursue a permanent deal for winger Victor Moses when he returns to Chelsea after the final whistle, while Philipp Woolscheid is waiting to see whether Stoke activate a clause to turn his loan move from Bayer Leverkusen into a long-term transfer.
