Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone is delighted to be back in action.
The midfielder came through two 90-minute shifts in just over a week in the Capital One Cup win at Carlisle and then the draw against Panathinaikos in Athens.
"It's been depressing at times, frustrating, but I've close family and friends who have been supportive and luckily, there was always going to be light at the end of the tunnel, and that's been the case," Huddlestone told the Spurs website.
"This pre-season and into the season I've been fully fit and I've got a couple of games under my belt so far.
"It was frustrating last season not being to contribute. Hopefully now I'm over the worst of it, I can kick on and try to force my way back into the team."
In the meantime, Tottenham have changed training facilities from Spurs Lodge to the superb Hotspur Way.
"This place is unbelievable," said Tom. "First and foremost, the pitches are second to none, then the facilities inside with the swimming pool and of course the leisure room for me to beat the lads at table-tennis or pool every day!"
