Huddersfield Town winger Rajiv van La Parra says the players know they need to improve their goalscoring.
The 27-year-old Dutchman played his part in an encouraging team display against Crystal Palace and was bitterly disappointed Town were beaten by a spectacular strike from Wilfried Zaha.
“It was really frustrating against Palace because we tried so hard to score a goal and to win," said Van La Parra.
“At the moment, we have some difficulty scoring goals and it's something we are working hard on in training to put right.
“Hopefully in the next game we can score some goals and get the confidence back."
Van La Parra is realistic, however, about the task facing Town.
“We played a good game (against Palace) but playing good is not enough," he explained.
“It's about scoring goals, and the fact we didn't is what killed us.
“At least we gave a positive performance, though, and that is something we can build on.
“After that, we have to add goals to the way we play – then we will get more points.
“If you look at our performance, it was good from the team, but the game is about scoring goals and that's what we need to add to the way we play.
“We are looking to build."
