Huddersfield winger Ince: We shocked slow Man Utd. They thought we'd roll over

Huddersfield Town winger Thomas Ince enjoyed a swipe at Manchester United after Saturday's shock win.

Indeed, the son of United legend Paul Ince took aim at the giants for the attitude they showed the Terriers.

"It was a shock to the system for them because obviously they've come here expecting to win," he said.

“They thought they could roll us over, but we showed them otherwise.

“We had to get in their faces, we had to make it difficult, we had to make it ugly. We had to make tackles and make fouls if we had to make fouls, just to let them know they're in for a game."

The midfielder continued: “When you look at United, they're obviously a top-quality side, but they don't really play with the same fluidity as Spurs or Man City.

“They build up the game quite slow, they like to get it out wide. We felt that if we could win the ball and exploit the space in behind, we could have some success against them."
