Huddersfield want to hang onto Norwich's Vaughan

Huddersfield Town manager Mark Robins says he would love to keep Norwich City striker James Vaughan at the club on a permanent basis.

The 24-year old scored 14 goals in 33 appearances to help the Terriers avoid relegation from the Championship whilst on loan from the Canaries and now Robins will speak to the Norfolk club to see if he is available.

"Our loanees (Vaguhan, Theo Robinson, Neil Danns, Jermaine Beckford and Godwin Abadaki) return to their respective clubs having done ever so well for us, but we do plan to speak to Norwich and James Vaughan about their respective plans," he told the club's official website.
