Huddersfield's Rhodes to accept Team GB call-up

It has been revealed that Huddersfield Town goal ace Jordan Rhodes will accept the call to play for the Great Britain football team at this summer's Olympic Games.

SunSport suggests that the English-born Scotland international was a late inclusion to Stuart Pearce's 35-man provisional Team GB squad on Friday and is willing to play for the team if he is selected in the final 18.

The decision is likely to infuriate Scottish Football Association chiefs as they have implored Scottish players to boycott the team because it will hurt the country's independent status with FIFA.
