Huddersfield plan lifetime bans for thugs that attacked Newcastle's Smith
Huddersfield thugs face lifetime bans for attacking MK Dons striker Alan Smith.
The on-loan Newcastle United veteran was kicked, punched and spat at before being rescued by police and manager Karl Robinson.
Angry Huddersfield chief Dean Hoyle has vowed to find those responsible for attacking former Leeds striker Smith and ban them for life.
"We will look closely at what happened," said Hoyle. "We have imposed life bans before and will do so again if required."
