Only a loan deal is likely for Huddersfield over Chelsea midfielder Izzy Brown.

The Huddersfield Examiner says Brown's move to Huddersfield Town is not happening.

It was claimed an £8m permanent deal was being discussed between Huddersfield and Chelsea.

Brown impressed on loan at Huddersfield last season and the Terriers are seeking new recruits ahead of their first campaign in the Premier League.

But there are no talks currently taking place and that any deal would likely be on loan terms.
