Huddersfield move for Central Coast Mariners fullback Heffernen

Huddersfield are moving for Central Coast Mariners left-back Dean Heffernen.

The Daily Mail says Terriers boss Lee Clark hopes to sign the Australia international on-loan to the end of the season.

Heffernen has revived his career at the Mariners this season after a difficult spell in Germany with Nurnberg. He hopes the move to Huddersfield will keep him in the frame for World Cup selection.
