Huddersfield Town midfielder Tommy Smith has expressed his disappointment following the 2-0 defeat at West Ham on Monday night.

The defeat at London Stadium was Terriers' first of the season, and Smith explained that they were not brave enough with the ball during the game.

He told Sky Sports: "We weren't quite at it today. The manager stressed at half-time that we weren't brave enough with the ball and that showed. We are very disappointed.

"I don't think on the whole we were as good as we can be.

"We will dust ourselves down and look forward to the game against Leicester on Saturday."
