Huddersfield boss David Wagner is hopeful midfielder Aaron Mooy will be available for Saturday's clash with Cardiff City.
The Australian midfielder started the opening round game against Chelsea. But he missed Sunday's loss to Manchester City as he joined his wife who was giving a birth to their child.
However, Town manager Wagner is not certain he'll have Mooy at disposal next weekend.
"We haven't heard anything yet from Aaron Mooy, hopefully everything goes to plan and will be okay for him," Wagner said about the player.
