Huddersfield to make move for departing Rangers forward Lafferty

Huddersfield Town are believed to be very interested in scoring Kyle Lafferty from Rangers for a cut price.

The Northern Ireland striker is on his way out at Ibrox this summer after having a few run-ins with manager Ally McCoist and is available for £575,000 because of a clause on his contract agreed on when the club fell into administration earlier this year.

Reports suggest that Huddersfield manager Simon Grayson is determined to land a quality goalscorer as he prepares for life in the Championship without hotshot Jordan Rhodes who could be on his way to the Premier League.
