Reading striker Simon Church is unsure of his long-term future.

Church joined Huddersfield Town on-loan last week.

"I know I'm only here for a month at the moment, but I want to give it my all," Church, who is out of contract at the end of the season, said in the Reading Post.

"I've been waiting for my chance to play football and now I'm going to give my all.

"Perhaps something will happen at the end of it, but that's up to everyone else. I will keep my head down, work hard and take my chances when they come.

"I've been playing for Wales and in the reserves. However, it's not the same as coming here and playing at the weekend. I felt strong, I lagged a bit towards the end, but it was a tough game and I'm pleased to get through the 90 minutes.

"I was just really pleased to play and show people what I can do. Hopefully that is the start of good things."
