Huddersfield keen to buy Chelsea midfielder Izzy Brown

Huddersfield Town are keen to keep hold of Chelsea midfielder Izzy Brown.

The Mirror says play-off contenders Huddersfield want to make forward Brown's loan move a permanent one after his impressive spell in the second half of the season.

Brown joined Huddersfield in January after cutting short his loan at Rotherham and scored five goals in 15 starts for David Wagner's side.

The 20 year-old helped Huddersfield finish fifth and their promotion hopes are in the balance after a 0-0 draw in their play-off semi-final first leg against Sheffield Wednesday.

Chelsea would want around £3m for England under-20 youngster Brown and Huddersfield's hopes of landing him permanently are likely to depend on them going up.
