Norwich City midfielder Alex Pritchard is being lined up for a Premier League return.

The Mirror says Huddersfield Town are in talks with Norwich over midfielder Pritchard.

Terriers' boss David Wagner has stated that he did not think he could afford a player like former Tottenham prospect Pritchard, but the German is close to agreeing an £8m fee for the former Tottenham player.

Huddersfield have made room in the squad for Pritchard after sending Kasey Palmer back to Chelsea – who in-turn is set for a move to the Championship with a host of clubs looking to land him.
