Huddersfield Town fullback Chris Lowe is proud of his role in the club's emergence.
Lowe helped the Terriers win promotion last year before being part of the team to establish themselves in the Premier League this past season.
He told BILD: "What has happened in the last two years is very special. I'll probably realise that when I stop playing football. Nobody would have expected us to climb in 2017. The fact that we held our class in the strongest league in the world is the even bigger sensation.
"We had the lowest budget in the league. But we have proven that money does not always have to be the deciding factor for success. Our coach David Wagner has a clear plan, we are a conspiratorial bunch and our style of play is very unpleasant for many opponents."
