Norwich City striker James Vaughan was again on the scoresheet for Huddersfield in victory at Blackpool.

Norwich City striker James Vaughan was again on the scoresheet for Huddersfield in victory at Blackpool.

Vaughan scored a goal and had a hand in two more to shatter Blackpool’s dream of going top.

Town boss Simon Grayson hopes injury-prone former Everton star Vaughan can continue to make an impact for the newly-promoted side.

He said: “If James can keep fit all season, he will be a major acquisition for us.

“We’ve got him on loan until the end of the season but it’s a possibility we may look at getting him on a permanent deal in January.”
