Huddersfield Town's head of football operations Ross Wilson is under consideration at West Bromwich Albion as a replacement for the FA-bound Dan Ashworth.

The Guardian says Wilson, 30, joined Huddersfield only in August, after spending 15 months with Watford and previously working at Falkirk. He graduated from the University of Strathclyde, where he studied social science, and started at Falkirk as player liaison officer before working his way up to become the club's head of football development and administration.

Wilson was with Falkirk for seven years before moving to Watford to become the Championship club's football business director.
