Huddersfield Town are chasing Nurnberg midfielder Abdelhamid Sabiri.

BILD says the Terriers interest has unsettled Sabiri, who was dropped for their friendly with Borussia Monchengladbach.

The 20 year-old has been identified by Huddersfield boss David Wagner, with suggestions he could slap in a transfer request to force the move.

Nurnberg chief Andreas Bornemann confirmed: "It is true that we have received a loose request from Huddersfield Town for him.

"However, we have made it absolutely clear that we do not want to give up Sabiri."
