Huddersfield break 80 year old club record

Striker Jordan Rhodes scored twice as Huddersfield broke an 86-year club record with a 3-0 defeat of Notts County. Rhodes, who made his Scotland U21 debut against Belgium on Thursday, headed in the opening goal in this npower League One game from Benik Afobe's cross.

The youngster's through-ball on 58 minutes set up Gary Roberts to make it 2-0, before Rhodes - who has now scored 20 goals this season - rounded off the scoring five minutes later.

Huddersfield, now four points clear of third-placed Peterborough, have gone 18 league games unbeaten, breaking the record for an unbeaten run in a single season which they set in 1925.
