Huddersfield Town manager David Wagner has revealed that he will field his strongest squad for the upcoming Carabao Cup clash against Crystal Palace.

Many Premier League teams use the early stages of the Carabao Cup to field their fringe players as well as provide rest to the key figures in the team but Wagner has stated that he will name his strongest lineup for the League Cup encounter against Palace on Tuesday night.

Wagner said ahead of the clash against Palace: "We all love cup competitions and our aim is to be successful in them. You only have one chance and one game and we will pick the most competitive and strongest team to be successful.

"We will not just pick players to give them minutes in their legs – we want to play the game and be in the next round of the cup."
