Huddersfield boss Wagner happy to still be alive in FA Cup

Huddersfield Town face a FA Cup replay after their 1-1 draw with Birmingham City.

Lukas Jutkiewicz arrowed home a low shot nine minutes into the second period after Steve Mounie's emphatic header had given the Premier League side an interval lead.

Huddersfield boss David Wagner commented: “At least we are in the competition.

“We wanted to go through today but unfortunately we made too many mistakes in the offence, where we didn't use our chances.

“We made a mistake before we conceded the first goal, which means re-match, something that we didn't want to have but now we have it, we take it.

“There's a lot of positives we can take out of this game and we have a big squad at the minute, a lot of healthy players which shows that our medical department is top class.

“This means that everybody has to work to be in the squad or in the starting XI and for this the extra game helps.

“So, I have no complaints about the re-match because we have so many healthy players, even if we wanted to go into the next round today."
