Robins is bringing flowing football to the Terriers this season.
“I always had a strong desire to become a manager,” the 43-year-old former striker, who enjoyed successful spells at Norwich and Leicester after leaving Old Trafford, told the Daily Express. “In fact, I’ll never forget when I was at United and Sir Alex said to me on the training field, ‘If anyone’s going to make it as a manager, then it will be you’.
“It was an off-the-cuff remark but, after I retired in May 2004, I went on to do my coaching badges and I did them religiously to try to get them spot-on."
