Huddersfield boss David Wagner delighted with Matt Daly in Bury win

Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner was pleased with their friendly win at Bury.

The Terriers enjoyed a comfortable 4-0 win.

Wagner told HTTV: “I would say it was one of the better pre-season matches, even if it was a pre-season match. I liked the tempo which they've shown.

"Everyone is healthy but there is a small doubt about Bacuna – other than that it's a perfect evening. I think we've seen some good moments and some less good moments, so it was a typical pre-season match."

Matt Daly, 17, was on the scoresheet and impressed Wagner.

The manager added: “He [Matty Daly] is a homegrown player who came through our Academy, so credit to our Academy with what they've done with him so far. He's been with us for a week and you were able to see his talent in some moments and his youth in other moments, both in the positive and the negatives. We shouldn't see the negatives in him, we should only see the positives. He's a talent and we will support him and give him the help to make him better."
