Huddersfield boss accepts rub of green in play-off semi-final stalemate

Lee Clark conceded Huddersfield were fortunate to escape two penalty appeals as the first leg of their play-off semi with Millwall ended 0-0. Asked if the Londoners should have been awarded at least one penalty, Clark said: "Possibly. Had it been down the other end I'd have been asking for it as well.

"But I bet there's been eight or nine times it's happened to me the other way so as everyone keeps saying, more experienced managers than me, this luck stuff evens itself out.

"I'm not disappointed with that result at all, 0-0 is a good result. My lads played brilliantly and were the dominant team for most parts of the game. Down at the Den, Millwall's fans will be urging their team to attack and I know that I have one of the best counter-attacking teams in the League."

The second leg of the play-off semi-final takes place on Tuesday night.
