Norwich City midfielder Jonny Howson has sympathy for Luciano Becchio over his playing frustrations.
The pair also were teammates at Leeds United and Howson feels for the Argentine.
"I experienced it and you do become frustrated at times because there is no player who just wants to sit on the bench and not be playing," Howson told the Pink 'Un. "People show their frustrations in different ways, but at the end of the day we all want the same thing and that is to make the team successful and win games.
"As players you want to be out on that field and making that happen but the reality is there will be lads who don't get the games they want. That can make you frustrated and unhappy. It's a case of remembering we are all in this together and when injuries and suspensions come along you can be called on at any time.
"I've known Luciano before he came to Norwich when we were together at Leeds and off the pitch he is certainly still the same lad I knew back at Leeds."
