Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe was proud of Cherries fans after their reception for Newcastle United midfielder Matt Ritchie.
Saturday's 2-2 draw between Newcastle and Bournemouth was the first time Ritchie had been back to Dean Court since departing.
“I wasn't aware of what they gave him at the start of the match, I wasn't out on the pitch, but I was pleased the ground applauded him when he got took off," Howe replied when he was asked about the warm reception Ritchie received.
“I thought it was a real mark of class from our supporters and I expected nothing different. They recognised what Matty did for us over a long period of time."
