Tim Howard is set to be handed a new Everton contract.
The Mirror says Howard will ease the pain of Everton's FA Cup final defeat by sealing a new five-year deal.
The 30-year-old will commit himself to the Goodison club until 2014 by signing a contract worth around £10million within the next few days.
The American - a key figure in the Blues' remarkable season - joins Phil Jagielka and Joseph Yobo in signing five-year contracts.
