Howard: Plenty of derby lessons for Everton

Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard says there's plenty to learn from their 3-3 draw with Liverpool.

On the back of two goalless draws, the Blues found their clinical edge with three fine strikes, but that would not be enough to earn victory.

Howard told evertontv: "We're disappointed with the way we conceded the goals.

"It's not something we do and we're not proud of the fact that we gave away three goals. That can't happen, certainly not at set-pieces. There were little mistakes that got punished and that will be corrected.

"We shouldn't need four goals at home to win so in the end it's two points dropped but it was a good derby.

"We played really good football. I thought we dominated at times and they hit us on the counter-attack but we controlled a lot of it and created a tonne of chances."
