Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard is now the club's longest serving shot-stopper.
The USA international has surpassed legend Neville Southall.
"I didn't know that, it's fantastic," Howard told evertonfc.com. "Southall set the benchmark here for goalkeepers and for all players because he's got so many records.
"Old players like me will hang on anything.
"I know what he meant to this club so it's always nice to use him as a marker and try to catch that.""Those are always nice things but something you put on the back-burner. I don't keep up with stats and things like that, I try to keep focused on the now, but it's really nice to hear.
