Howard hopes Moyes stays with Everton long-term

Tim Howard hopes Everton boss David Moyes stays long-term.

The American No.1 has worked under former Preston North End boss Moyes and Sir Alex Ferguson in England.

And he's grateful for the football education he has received at Manchester United and now Everton.

Howard said: "Yes, I have had the good fortune of playing for Sir Alex and David Moyes. They are both fiery Scots who are entrenched in the mindset of not going anywhere.

"I feel that's been a huge benefit for me as I look at a lot at friends who play at other clubs.

"In their cases, every year it's a new guy in charge. I know the boss is a strong, stubborn guy who won't go anywhere unless it's on his terms. I hope he stays. I'm sure he will."
