Derby County striker Steven Howard is backing fit-again Giles Barnes to thrive in the Premiership.

"Giles has worked really hard after a terrible injury and he just needs a few more training sessions under his belt and I'm sure he'll be back firing again," said Howard.

"He's a confident lad but that's who he is. He's a wonderful, skilful player.

"Having him back will help us, no doubt. He's that type of player who can come on and change the game."
