Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard spoke very highly of America's newest soccer-specific stadium in Kansas City.
LIVESTRONG Sporting Park, home of MLS club Sporting Kansas City, opened earlier this month but it has already played host to a couple of international matches.
The final round of Group C fixtures, between Canada and Panama and USA and Guadeloupe, were played at the venue yesterday and it was well-received by the USA national team players, particularly Everton's Howard who is used to playing at some of the best stadiums in the UK.
"It's gorgeous," Howard said. "Gorgeous.
And when asked if a venue like LIVESTRONG Park would determine whether a player comes to the club or not, Howard believes Sporting Kansas City may have a deal-breaker on their hands.
"I think so," he added. "As players, we're pretty easy to motivate. You walk a player around here and put his name on the scoreboard and show him all the ins and outs, yeah, I think that could definitely play into it this is like, you want to be a star here, and these types of places are pretty awesome."
