Everton keeper Tim Howard is eager for David Moyes to stay at Goodison Park when his contract expires in the summer, but admits that it should not be the concern of the players. "The manager he needs to stay, everyone knows that," he told Sky Sports.
"It is no secret but that is an outside issue and that doesn't concern, currently, the players.
"We have to focus on the task and that is playing and performing, and he focuses on getting us ready for the games and performing and it [his future] is not something he talks about and we just get on with it."
Howard feels Moyes can stay at Everton and match his ambitions, adding: "Players want to stay somewhere where there is success and a manager can't be any different and his ambition is to match ours and vice-versa, but I think we are on the same page."
The American, though, did admit that life without Moyes would be tough and a very hard act to follow.
"It would be difficult for any manager to come in as he has done so well," he admitted.
