Houston Dynamo midfielder Stuart Holden has not ruled out a return to the UK.
The USA international was born in Scotland, moving to America when he was 10 years old, becoming a citizen in 2006 and made his debut for the national team this year.
Although he loves the MLS and playing for the Dynamo, Holden misses the football culture in the UK and may find himself back there, especially as his contract in Houston is about to expire.
"I miss the British sense of humour, which is a part of me people here don't always understand. And I miss the football culture, watching it and being around it all the time," he said.
"Soccer is a growing sport over here, a sport that will hopefully be mainstream one day, but at the moment it's not.
"I love it here, the lifestyle and all the rest of it, but I'm definitely not ruling out a move back to the UK," he added.
